She died on Sep 28 1988 in Stow, Ohio.(64) ABJ, 09/29/1988: "Ruth Valda Hamilton, 86, died Sept. 28, 1988. Born in Cleveland, she had lived in Stow all her life. She was a member of First Christian Church of Stow, where she was a former secretary, and was past president of the Women's Council and Christian Women's Fellowship. She was also a former employee of Firestone Park Savings Bank."
William R. Hamilton was born in 1899. Tombstone next to Valda Hamilton's tombstone is labelled "John W. Hamilton 1899-1940". He died in 1940. Tombstone next to Valda Hamilton's tombstone is labelled "John W. Hamilton 1899-1940". He was buried in Stow Cemetery. Tombstone next to Valda Hamilton's tombstone is labelled "John W. Hamilton 1899-1940". My genealogy database has Mr. Hamilton listed as "William R. Hamilton." There is a tombstone next to the grave of Valda Hamilton (my aunt) that is for "John W. Hamilton." I will need to follow up with my original source to see where I came up with William R. Hamilton. The date on the tombstone is 1899-1940.
